The Basilic contains a high percentage of active ingredient called methylchavicol. Methylchavicol has antispasmodic, relaxing and calming properties. It also contains a percentage of linalool which is a recognized sedative and anxiolytic.

Massage: To obtain a 5% dilution, ideal for massages, mix 5 ml of essential oil with 100 ml of vegetable oil, alcohol-free gel, cream or virgin massage emulsion.
Essential oil diffuser: Add 15 drops of essential oil to a diffuser for 10 to 15 minutes for a room measuring 10' x 12' (3 m x 4 m) or depending on the size of the room.
Optimal positioning: Treatment room, living room, family room and bedroom.
Dry inhalation: Apply 2 or 3 drops of essential oil to a tissue and breathe for two minutes, morning and evening to help reduce stress.
